Getting started

node:

A node is a point in the 3D space. It is the root of the body design. It can be added in the bodt degign panel using 'Add wNode' button . In its parameters, It has x, y and z components of its position in the vehicle coordinate system. This coordinate system has origin in the center of the rear axle at the ground level with the x-axis pointing forward and z-axis pointing upward.

You can also assign this node to different objects of vehicle to mark their position. When a node is assigned to an object, it will appear blue in the body design panel. Below is the list of objects to which a node can be assigned.

Driver's eye: Driver's eye.

Steering point: Point where center of steering wheel is situated.

Steering column: Togather with steering point, this point will define the axis of steering's rotation.

Guage cluster: Bottom center of the guage cluster.

Headlight right/left: Headlight beam point.

Door FR/FL/RR/RL/Hood/Tailgate Hinge: Hinge of the respective door. There must be exactly two hinges per door.

Door FR/FL/RR/RL/Hood/Tailgate Latch: Latch of the respective door. There must be one latch per door.

Door FR/FL/RR/RL/Hood/Tailgate Handle: Handle of the respective door. There must be one handle per door.

Dash cam: Position of the dash cam. A good position is the center of the windscreen.
