The Layout tab:

The 'Layout' tab lets you define the dimensions and layout of the vehicle. In the 'Drivetrain layout' dropdown menu, you can select one from many drivetrain configurations. Possible optins are:


Other parameters in this tab are explained below:

Wheelbase: Distance between front and rear axle.
Floor width: Width of cabin floor.
Floor height: Height of cabin floor from ground level.
Firewall height: Height of top edge of firewall (partition between cabin and engine bay) from cabin floor.
Floor-front axle spacing: Distance between front edge of cabin floor and front axle.
Floor-rear axle spacing: Distance between rear edge of cabin floor and rear axle.
Front chassis overhang: Distance between front axle and front bumper bar.
Rear chassis overhang: Distance between rear axle and rear bumper bar.
Front bumperband height: Height of front bumperbar from ground level.
Rear bumperband height: Height of rear bumperbar from ground level.
Front trackwidth: Distance between front left and right wheels.
Rear trackwidth: Distance between rear left and right wheels.
Wheel dimensions (front): Dimensions of the front tire.
Wheel dimensions (rear): Dimensions of the rear tire.
